How do I wash my Boody Period & Leak-proof underwear?Updated a year ago

Please note that your Period & Leak-proof undies need to be washed before wearing them for the first time to help activate the absorbing technology. 

1. Rinse your period underwear in cold water as soon as you can after removal and rinse until the water runs clear. 
2. Wash in a wash bag (while not essential, it helps your underwear last longer) 
3. Wash on a cold cycle - max up to 86°F/30°C. If you're hand-washing, the water should feel close to room temperature. Do not bleach and do not soak. 
4. Line dry only - we recommend drying in the sun if you can. Sunlight has natural anti-microbial properties that are good for your undies! Do not tumble dry and do not iron.

Tip: Hold the softener! Fabric softener is your period undies' worst enemy. It leaves a "water-proof" film on textiles that can counteract the natural bamboo absorbing properties of your undies.
